Privacy policy
This site has no analytics, advertising or tracking. It sets no cookies and loads no scripts, fonts or embedded content from other companies. Our hosting provider processes basic technical data to deliver pages. The enquiry form doesn’t currently send anything.
Who we are
harborlanefreight.com is the website of Harborlane Freight. Harborlane Freight is a technology services business, not a freight forwarder or customs broker.
Visiting the site
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect the service, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, the page requested and the time. It does so as our hosting provider, under its own privacy policy and retention practices: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
We haven’t added analytics or tracking tools, and we don’t use this information to identify visitors.
The enquiry form
The form asks for your name, work email, organisation (optional), the service you’re interested in (optional) and a message. It doesn’t accept attachments.
At the moment the form isn’t connected to any sending service. When you press “Send enquiry”, it checks your entries in your own browser and then shows a thank-you note. Nothing you type is transmitted to us or anyone else, and nothing is stored.
Before the form is switched on, this section will be updated to name the service that processes submissions, what it stores, for how long, and any spam protection it uses.
If you email us, we receive your address, your name if you include it, your message and any attachments, and the standard technical details of an email. Our mailbox is hosted by Microsoft as part of Microsoft 365.
We use enquiries only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation, and keep them only as long as we need them unless we go on to work together.
Documents and sensitive details
Please don’t send confidential shipment documents, customer details, identity documents or login credentials, by form or by email. We don’t need them to discuss your workflows. If you send something like this by mistake, tell us and we’ll delete it.
Sharing
We don’t sell personal information or share it for marketing. It’s processed only by the providers named above, as needed to run the site and our email.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it’s used. To make a request, contact us by email. You may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If the way this site handles information changes, for example when the enquiry form is connected to a sending service, we’ll update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
